Eligibility
- You must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, or a foreign borrower applying with a creditworthy U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- You must have no student loans that are delinquent or in default.
- You must meet the credit criteria established by the lender.
- You should apply for Stafford and Graduate PLUS loans first and need funding beyond the limits of these loan programs.

The DENTALoans Advanced Study Private Loan has interest rates that reward good credit and are as low as Prime – 0.50% when you and your cosigner are both credit-approved and one has excellent credit. Interest rates are variable and reset monthly. Fees
There is no disbursement fee or repayment fee. Repayment
- 15-year standard repayment term. Up to 25-year repayment term available based on outstanding balance owed for DENTALoans Graduate Private Loan and Advanced Study Private Loan. Maximum 30-year term also available on request.
- Repayment begins three years after graduation or nine months after leaving school or dropping to less-than-half-time status.

- Interest rate reductions are available only during periods of active repayment.
