Law school
The legal system affects each of us in our daily lives. Lawyers and judicial workers hold positions of authority within this system, acting as advocates and advisors — in and out of the courtroom.
Thinking of law school?
To practice law in a state, you must be licensed or admitted to its bar. In most states, you will need a graduate degree from an accredited law school to take the bar exam to become an attorney. While law school programs vary, the American Bar Association (ABA) sets standards to promote quality legal programs. ABA accredits 193 institutions nationwide.
